CONTEST: Student Poetry

Creative Communication is offering a free contest for students who write poetry in elementary and middle school. Winners are published in their annual anthology and receive a portion of the prize money that will be split among all the winners. Plus this is a great chance for students to become published authors! Essay submissions are also accepted.

Poems must be 21 lines or less. Students will compete against other students in their own age categories: Grades K-3, 4-6, and 7-9.

Students may enter individually, as part of a homeschool group, or as part of a traditional classroom environment.

Teachers: There are special incentives for teachers who wish to include their class in this competition, so check it out!

Please let me know if you enter and get published through this contest. I would love to give you a shout-out on the blog.

Happy Writing!
